And we are off!!

5 weeks of FunZone began today with a warm up game of Dodgeball, all the boys and girls took part in the game which set the tone for the day. Arts and Crafts included making some great FunZone posters to decorate the school and making Pokeball window decorations. Sports/Games included four corners football, cricket and the ever popular Shark Attack. The children took part in drama games such as one word story and the name game. Lots of fun was had. Some days are close to full now, so if there is a particular date you are looking at, please don't leave booking up too late as we wouldn't want you to be disappointed.

To celebrate the forthcoming Olympic games, next week at FunZone will be Olympic week. Boys and girls will be placed into countries and will be competing against each other in a variety of activities. They will create their own flags, mascot, make up a team chant, prepare some dance moves for the Olympic parade and make Olympic torches. As well as this they will compete in a variety of Olympic sports to help win points for their country, including gymnastics, football, handball and shooting. This promises to be an action packed fun week and will get everyone ready to cheer on their country for the real thing on Friday! We look forward to seeing who will be the FunZone Olympic Champions!
